Equivalent transformation and simplified calculation method for row piles with internal bracing system

  • Considering the deformation incoordination in the simplified calculation method for row piles with internal bracing system, a new simplified method is proposed, which realizes the deformation coordination spontaneously. The spatial model consisting of the piles-bracing system-soil is transformed into the plane model consisting of the equivalent springs-bracing system-equivalent joint load, and the iterative algorithm is used to solve the spatial coupling problem of multi-internal bracing system. The calculation principle of this method is consistent with that of the spatial model. A comparison shows that the results obtained by the proposed method are close to those of the FEM, thus the proposed method is accurate and feasible.
