Abstract: Earth anchors with squibbing have been used in the landslide control works Of Wu Feng Mountain where locatal the foundation of transmission tower crossing over Yangtze River in Zhenjiang city, China. The technique of using earth anchors gained remarkable economical benefit. The field experiment shows that the earth anchor has relatively high bearing capacity and is simple in construction. The effectiveness in expansion of hole by explosion,the tensile load capacity of earth anchor with squibbing and the arrangements of earth anchors are promed in this paper.
