考虑尺寸和形状效应的粗粒土单颗粒破碎试验研究

    Single particle crushing tests of coarse grained soil considering size and shape effects

    • 摘要: 颗粒大小和形状显著影响颗粒的破碎行为。本研究对白鹤滩水电站高填方工程的砾石填料颗粒进行了颗粒扫描、形状分析和单颗粒压缩试验。结果表明:单颗粒破碎强度具有明显的尺寸效应,特征应力随着粒径的增大而减小,并评估了Weibull理论在描述颗粒破碎强度尺寸效应方面的适用性。颗粒形状对破碎力有较为显著的影响,在计算颗粒破碎强度时考虑颗粒形状的影响,应用人工神经网络算法计算形状因子,提出了一个考虑颗粒尺寸和形状效应的破碎强度概率分布模型。

       

      Abstract: Particle size and shape significantly influence the crushing behaviors of coarse grained soil. In this study, the particle scanning, particle shape analysis, and single particle compression tests on the gravel soils of high filling project of Baihetan Hydropower Station are carried out. The test results show that the crushing strength of individual particles exists noticeable size effects. The characteristic crushing strength decreases with the particle size. The applicability of the Weibull model in describing the size effects on the crushing strength is then evaluated. The particle shape significantly affects crushing behavior. The particle shape is incorporated into the calculation of the crushing strength, with the shape factor calculated using an artificial neural networks algorithm. A probabilistic model is proposed to predict the crushing strength distribution by incorporating the particle size and shape.
