  • The dynamic analysis and calculation for the Combined system of layered soil-structure by the Boundary Integral Equation-Boundary Element Method is presented and adynamic numerical model for the combined system is obtained using the boundary integration. It can be applied to numerical solution for dynamic responses of different combined system with various soil bases (Semi-infinite elastic soil, layered soil and soil interstratified withs ilt).Several numerical examples are calculated and discussed, including dynamic response of rigid structure with layered soil and soil interstratified with silt as well as screening effect of trenches with different type of backfill. Some satisfactory results and valuable conclusions are obtained.
