Determination of Shear Modulus of Rock in Situ

This paper is divided into two parts. The first part deals with calculation of shear modulus of rock massif by means of direct shear testing ia situ according to the results of field measurements. The second part discusses the method calculating shear modulus of rock in terms of radial displacements of rock massif around underground cavern.
