Acoustic Emission Experiments of Rock Mechanics

Testing technique of acoustic emission plays an important part in understanding mechanism of rock fracture and monitoring in situ safety. This paper presents the principle of the circuit of an acoustic-emitter by use of which preliminary testing approaching have been made to various experiments for rock models and the phenomenon of acoustic emission ia material testing. The experiments show that there exist very close relation between the phenomenon of acoustic emission and material fracture.
