Analysis on the Bearing Capacity of Geogrid Reinforced Stone column
The geogrid reinforced stone column is analyzed by using limit equilibrium theory.Results show that the rupture plane as expanding break is located at the depth of about (1～3) radius of stone column due to the nonlinear distribution of lateral pressure and axial force. The geogrid increases the bearing capacity of stone column remarkably.
