Nonlinear Stress-path-Dependent Behavior of Soils

ln order to consider two important soil properties一nonlinearity and stress一path,a stress一strain consti-tutive relationship was developed in the paper,and a tangential modulus expression was deduced under the conditionof constant incremental stress ratio. The suitability of the model was analyzed and verified with laboratory data.
