Egg Shaped Yield Function for Geotechnical Engineering Materials

An egg shaped yield function characterize yield surface for geotechnical materials is suggested. Based on the function, a generalized formulation that can include common different yield functions have been developed. Methods used to determine the parameters of the function and the constitution equation are given.
