Picture-Program Method for Determining Parameters of Soil Constitutive Models

A new method for determining the parameters of soil constitutive models is presented. With the help of picture-program, the method can be used to adjust and determine the parameters of varied models directly on computer screen by the coincidence of the calculated stress-strain curves of certain model with the exeperimental ones. Varied stress paths can be taken into account in determining parameters. With this method, the picture-program has been worked out which contains five different constitutive models. Examples of the program shown that the method is succinct, speedy, accurate and practical.
