Research on Stress and Strain of Concrete Face Rockfill Dam

Based on the engineering characteristics of roller-compacted rockfill dams, the unreasonable initial condition in the analysis of the stress and strain for these rockfill dams is modified in this article. The displacement and stress of an ideal concrete face rockfill dam are investigated with Duncan-Chang’s non-linear elastic E-v model. Satisforctory results have been obtained.
