Analytic Solution of a Two Dimensional Consolidation Problem

Based on Blot's theory of consolidation, the analytic acution of pore water pressure, stress and displacement component in a two dimensional consolidation problem is given. The solution covers finite finite layer with a permeable surface and an impermeable bottom, semi-infinite layer with a permeable surface and thoe with concentrated load, distributed load and load changing with time on the surface.
