The Group Efficiency of the Horizontal Bearing Capacity on Pile Foundation

This report is based on analysis of information and a model test. In this paper, the behavious of pile groups under horizontal forces and the mechanism of failure are analyzed, and a calculating expression of the group efficiency under horizontal forces is proposed. The results of calculation approach to the data from model tests.
