On Problem of Standardization for Triaxial Liquefaction Tests

It has been noted by means of comparative tests that the triaxial liquefaction test procedure provided in the "Rules of Geotechnical Testing" can not obtain quite stable and identical results. In order to promote the standardization of liquefaction test procedure in our country, a standard procedure, including the pipeline system and the corresponding method of sample preparation and saturation is recommended. It has been tested that this procedure is comparatively satisfactory and the pipeline system is very easy to build at home.
