The Loading Conditions of Shotcrete Rock Bolt Tunnel Support

An analysis of loading data obtained from more than twenty field measurements at home and abroad by mathematical statistical method is presented in this paper. Loading conditions and their main affecting factors, such as the height of overburden, the span between tunnels and the thickness of shotcrete, are also discussed. Finally, a formula based on mathematical statistics is recommended.
