State-of-the-art of Dynamic Characteristics of Soil under Ocean Wave Loading

Accompanying the development of ocean engineering, particularly the rapid expansion of oil exploitation, research on the characteristics of marine soil under the action of wave loading has been given special attention for the design of offshore structures with the general environmental conditions such as wind, wave and current etc. This paper gives a composite review on the international research activities and on the materials collected thereon during the recent years, and also, on the basis of current status in our country, suggests the research work that should be carried out.
