Lateral capacity of prestressed piles in Shanghai soft soil
Combined with the horizontal static load tests in Shanghai, the standard of horizontal static load tests is studied. Through the static load tests and FEM, the horizontal bearing capacity of different types of prestressed piles and the influence of core grouting on their horizontal bearing capacity are discussed. Based on this research, some suggestions are given to pile design in soft soil.
