Use of fusegates for improving dam safety

This paper discusses the advantages of auxiliary spillways and the benefits of the use of fusegates.It also includes,with the three projects:Jindadyne dam,Canton dam and Otter Brook dam,a glimpse of the selection process and a description of the prominent features of the fusegate system.
