Discussion on antiseptic measures and standards of geotechnical prestressed anchorage cables in China

The antisepsis of geotechnical prestressed anchorage cables is crucial.It will induce deadly destruction in case of stress corrosion.It is very important to impose anchoring force in lots of engineering projects in China.However,it is in a state of complete ignorance of corrosion failure and antisepsis of anchor cables.Based on the discussion of corrosion mechanism and characteristics of geotechnical prestressed anchorage cables,after comparing differences of requirements for anticorrosion between the domestic and foreign standards of geotechnical anchorage,some suggestions for geotechnical anchorage cables were proposed,and they would be suitable for the engineering practices in China.
