Consideration of some fundamental viewpoints in studying effective stress of unsaturated soils

In view of the considerable tendency in studying the effective stress of unsaturated soils,some fundamental viewpoints were presented and analyzed on the basis of coupling the essentials of effective stress with the speciality of unsaturated soils,which were favorable to the presented problem.
