Particle shape descriptor in digital image analysis

This paper introduces the parameters used in the particle shape description of digital image processing, and points out that, the shape factor based on particle area and perimeter of S 11  is one of the best shape descriptor. With the application of the factor in test, authors introduced the method of how to use this factor.
