    Static and dynamic stress-deformation behavior of high concrete faced rockfill dams in strong ground motion zone

    • The stress-deformation behaviors of high concrete faced rockfill dams in strong ground motion zone during construction, water impoundment and earthquake have been imitatively calculated using three-dimensions finite element method. The static and dynamic stress-deformation behavior of dam body, concrete face, vertical joints and perimetric joints of high concrete faced rookfill dams have been obtained. Several corresponding earthquake-resistant measures have been put forward too.
