Back analysis for complex initial geostress field

A mechanical model for complex initial geostress field is put forward.Different from the geostress adopted often,the initial geostress,in this model,does not necessarily follow a certain kind of distribution law.And it can be back analyzed by determining boundary node forces due to tectonic stress.The method and process to back analyze the above initial geostress in linear elasticity material with finite element method is discussed,followed by an example.
