How to consider the seismic action in rock slope properly is a matter of utmost concern in engineering practice . Based on a great deal of FEM analyses, the distributing law of seismic coefficients in rock slope is concluded in this paper. A method for calculating the seismic action in rock slope is set forth , which can reflect the characteristic of seismic response of rock slope in some extent and is very convenient.
