Numerical Model Test on Strengthening Mechanism of Prestressed Bolts

Prestressed bolts are studied by numerical model test using a famous software FINAL introduced from Austria. The strengthening mechanism and effects of the multi bolts are discussed using various rock mechanics theories. The influence of some factors on the effects of strengthing, such as cohesion, friction angle and deformation modulus of rock mass, cement strength,prestressing force, and span of bolts is analysed.
