  • A new type of undirectional rock soil mate sensor is developed to be used in soft rock and similar material model to survey pressures and deformations. The elastic modulus of the elastic element is equal to that of the measured rock soil. The stress and strain of the rock soil can be quantitatively surveyed. It can survey both of the pressure and deformation at the given point in the rock soil or similar material. The measurement ranges are suitable for soft rocks and similar materials or soils with satisfactory repeatability and stability.
