  • Based on the observed data of the subsidence and deformation of Cainozoic Era layers inLinhuan Coalfield,levelling of the surface,as well as,some hydro-geological data and the result of soiltests,this paper discusses the general rules and mechanism of non-mining-induced subsidence and de-formation of the layers in Linhuan Coalfield,and presents the difference between the non-mining-induced subsidence and deformation of the layers in the coalfield and the surface subsidence in cities.
