  • In this paper,the mechanism of using geonets to treat unequal settlement of subgrade is analyzed.Based on observation of settlement and deflection by FWD in site, its rationality is proved by using nonlinear FEM analysis. The results show that geonets placed in layers in the soil can increase the resistance of soils to displacement and improve the nonuniformity of subgrade settlement effectively, so it is one kind of methods valid to solve the problem of unequal settlement of subgrade at the cut to fill location.
