    Influence of metakaolin on mechanical properties of cement-modified marine soft soil

    • According to the strength degradation problems caused by corrosion of cement-soil by soluble salts when the marine soft soil in Lianyungang area is improved by means of the cement-soil mixing method, the effect of metakaolin on the corrosion resistance of soil-cement is investigated. The results indicate that the metakaolin can increase hydration reaction and pozzolanic reaction of cement-soil to obviously improve is strength, and the best mixing ratio of metakaolin of cement-soil is obtained. The results provide a basis for the improvement of theory of mechanical properties of cement marine soil and the reinforcement design of marine soft soil by use of the cement-soil mixing method.
