  • The laboratory test of small-diameter steel pipe pile and the in-situ test of larger-diameter steel pipe pile are described in this paper. A complex analysis of penetration resistance and stress wave of pile for the dynamic testing results in the course of pile penetration is carried out. This paper is of practical significance in the evaluation of dynamic behaviour of pile at field, because the effects of soil properties below pile tip, pile cap and construction conditions etc. are taken into consideration.
