  • A three-dimensional convection-heat dispersion model for a confined aquifer is developed. The governing equation of our model contains not only the convection and conduction terms, as usual, but also the heat dispersion term, which is neglected la many papers. This model is used for describing a series of seasonal thermal energy storage experiments of an aquifer in Shanghai. The simulated temperatures agree very well with the field data(relative error:2.8%-4.5%).
