  • At present, shotcrete lining and rock anchorage are widely used throughout world in the fields of mining, building, railroad and hydraulic engineering. Nevertheless, on shotcrete lining and rock anchorage, so far there is no systematic and integrated designing theory nor effective measures for calculation in practice. The purposes of this paper are to go further into the designing principles and present the practical methods for calculation. In this paper the stabilization and supporting powers of the shotcrete lining and rock anchorage to the surrounding rock are discussed also. And on this basis a series of methods for calculation of shotcrete lining and rock anchorage in homogeneous strate are presented.
