  • Cyclic simple shear tests on undisturbed samples and dynamic triaxial tests on compacted speciments were performed under 100,200,and 300 kPa consolidation pressures.The maximum dynamic shear modulus Gdmax and the curves of Gd/Gdmax-γ were obtained and analyzed comparatively.It was shown that the maximum dynamic shear modulus Gdmax obtained from cyclic simple shear test was less than that of dynamic triaxial test,and the relation of Gd/Gdmax-γ was different under different consolidation pressures.
