This paper introduces the experimental results of driven cast-in-place tubular pile applied to treatment of bridgehead jumping in Chang-Xing Section of Hang-Ning Highway. The resucts of quality test, high strain and low strain tests, vertical and horizontal static load tests suggest that construction quality of the driven cast-in-place tubular pile is reliable. For four monitoring sections, pile-soil load, pore water pressure, surface settlement, settlement and horizontal displacement of underlying substrata are measured. Analysis indicates that the driven cast-in-place tubular pile used for treatment of soft foundation of bridgehead of shows the superiority in technology and cost comparing with plastic drain and powder-injection pile.
