This paper introduces a new type of driventube castinplace pile.Its construction equipment,construction process and bearing capacity were studied.The loadbearing characteristics of driventube castinplace pile has been analyzed based on insitu load test of twelve test piles on two sites.Analysis shows that the driventube castinplace piles is possessed of several advantages:no slurry contamination,no impact on surrounding environment,high bearing capacity,high efficiency,reliable quality and low cost,etc.So this pile style has great practical value and bright market prospect.
