  • The deep excavation in Puxi,Outer Ring Tunnel Project of Shanghai,is an open type one with depth of 30 m and width of 43 m.At first the comparison of computed results obtained by SUPER STAR software (China), SAP software (USA) and Li zheng software (China) is made, and then SUPER STAR software is adopted to trace compute the different stage of construction in order to get the results in advance of two weeks for guiding construction. This engineering practice has shown that the computed results are in good agreement with measured ones, SUPER STAR software is reasonable and feasible, and the trace computed method presented in this paper is also effective.
