Approach to evolution of the shape of fluid flow in rocks by stochastic theory

  • Based on the meso-experiment of water flow in sandstone, the stochastic theory is introduced to investigate the evolution process of seepage boundary in this paper. The effect of meso structure of porous media on the seepage is analyzed and the reason for the complexity of boundary shape is also given. The stochastic approach is initially proved by the agreement of theoretical value with the experimental results.
