Systematic triaxial compression tests are made for the sand reinforced by geosynthetics which include (1) needle punched non woven geotextile, (2) polyester fiber warp knitting geogrid, (3) glass fiber geogrid,(4) PP biaxial geogrid and (5) PE geonet. On basis of experimental results, this paper presents some conclusions that can be used to guide choosing geosynthetic type and to make research on geosynthetic reinforcement mechanism.
