Abstract: In the present paper the accuracy of calculation of loading on the buried box structures resulted from the ground surface air-blast loading by using the equivalentlayer model proposed by the authors has been verified and the extent of its applicability has also been examined. Besides, comparison of results obtained by this model and the method extensively used in practice has been made.
