Comparative research on design approaches on retaining structure for deep foundation pits in Chinese and European geotechnical design codes

  • 摘要: 欧洲岩土设计规范EN1997-1采用基于概率极限原理的分项系数法进行设计,其核心是三种设计方法,针对不同的情形,可分别选用其中一种,两种或三者全选。利用支挡结构设计实例,分别列举三种设计方法的计算过程,参数取值方法,并与引用我国规范的计算结果进行对比分析,找出稳定性、抗滑移和地基承载力的计算值差异,以期对我国岩土工程设计者熟悉与应用欧洲规范EN1997-1有所裨益。
    Abstract: The European geotechnical design code EN1997-1 introduces the partial coefficient method based on the theory of probability limit in geotechnical design. Its core is the three design approaches, which of one, two or three can be selected according to different circumstances. A design scheme of retaining structures is used as the example to illustrate the calculation process and the method for getting values of parameters in the three kinds of design approaches respectively. The results are compared with those calculated according to China's code to find out the difference in bearing capacity, stability, and anti-slip. Consequently, it is expected to help China's geotechnical engineering designers to understand and apply the European code EN1997-1.
